It is not betrayal that breaks a person,

،انسان دھوکے سے نہیں

دھوکے کے بعد باقی رہ جانے والی وفا کے بوجھ سے ٹوٹتا ہے۔

(راست)

ہم اسے ناانصافی کہتے ہیں جب کامیابی کا دروازہ ہمارے لیے بند ہو جاتا ہے

مگر  ہم یہ پوچھنا بھول جاتے ہیں کہ ہماری اپنی ترجیحات

 اور انتخاب نے اُس دروازے کو ہمارے بارے میں کیا سکھایا تھا۔

But stubbornness and desire can destroy what love makes beautiful.

محبت انسان کے اندر ایسے اُجالے کی طرح اُترتی ہے

I don’t know what true love truly is,

but when the distinction 

between the lover and the beloved fades away,

know that love has reached its perfection.

،دل وہ جگہ ہے جہاں خواہش جڑ پکڑتی ہے

،خواہش نیت کو جنم دیتی ہے

،نیت عمل میں جان ڈالتی ہے

اور عمل سے جزا یا سزا کا پھل تیار ہوتا ہے۔

Some things are not meant to be found; 

they are meant to find a home within you.

حسینؑ کا راستہ کیا ہے؟

اور کس کے لیے ہے؟

اور مومن کیسے بنتے ہیں؟

،ان سوالوں کا جواب صرف اُن لوگوں کو ملے گا جو

،اللہ کو راضی رکھنے کی چاہت رکھتے ہوں

جو نفس سے لڑائی کرنا جانتے ہوں۔

،ورنہ حسینؑ کا غم صرف ایک رسم ہے

کیونکہ اگر انسان کا اندر نہ بدلا تو باہر سے عزاداری کا کوئی فائدہ نہیں۔

 یہ تو اندر سے حق پر قائم رہنے کا نام ہے۔

The answers to these questions will only be found by 

those who desire to please Allah and who know

 how to struggle against their own desires (nafs).

Otherwise, the mourning of Hussain (A.S.) is merely a ritual,

 because if a person does not change inwardly,

 then outward mourning has no benefit. It is, in reality,

 the name of remaining steadfast upon the truth from within.

عقل مند خاموش رہ کر جاہل سے بحث میں جیت جاتا ہے

When wisdom chooses silence,

 ignorance has already lost the debate.

(Raast)

Who but Abbas (A.S.) teaches loyalty its fullest meaning!

And when he enters the battlefield, where do the shadows find refuge?

(Raast)

 We fear that Allah is watching us,

 yet the true fear is being deprived of His merciful gaze.

 For when a person is abandoned by that mercy, 

he has already begun to fall into Hell.
