Love enters the human soul like light,
refining everything it touches.
It does not change the world into something beautiful;
it changes the way we see it,
until even the simplest things begin to glow.
But stubbornness and desire can destroy what love makes beautiful.
Lust says,
“It is my right—so I must have it.”
But love whispers,
“If it is truly not yours, let it be free.”
Because love never seeks to possess what it loves;
it seeks to see it flourish, even if it must flourish without you.
