تزکیۂ نفس اس پانی کی مانند ہے

 جو مسلسل بہاؤ سے سخت پتھر کی تیزی بھی مٹا دیتا ہے۔ 

اسی طرح نفس کی اصلاح انسان کی سختی 

، اور انا کو گھِس دیتی ہے، یہاں تک کہ اس کی زبان مرہم

اس کا کردار رحمت، اور اس کا وجود اللہ کی محبت کا آئینہ بن جاتا ہے۔

Tazkiyah al-Nafs (Purification of the Soul)

 is like water that, through its constant flow,

 gradually smooths even the sharpest stone.

 Likewise, the continuous purification of the soul 

wears away the hardness of the heart 

and the pride of the ego until 

one's words become a healing balm, 

one's character becomes a mercy, 

and one's very existence reflects

 the love and light of Allah.

حسینؑ کا راستہ کیا ہے؟

اور کس کے لیے ہے؟

اور مومن کیسے بنتے ہیں؟

،ان سوالوں کا جواب صرف اُن لوگوں کو ملے گا جو

،اللہ کو راضی رکھنے کی چاہت رکھتے ہوں

جو نفس سے لڑائی کرنا جانتے ہوں۔

،ورنہ حسینؑ کا غم صرف ایک رسم ہے

کیونکہ اگر انسان کا اندر نہ بدلا تو باہر سے عزاداری کا کوئی فائدہ نہیں۔

 یہ تو اندر سے حق پر قائم رہنے کا نام ہے۔

The answers to these questions will only be found by 

those who desire to please Allah and who know

 how to struggle against their own desires (nafs).

Otherwise, the mourning of Hussain (A.S.) is merely a ritual,

 because if a person does not change inwardly,

 then outward mourning has no benefit. It is, in reality,

 the name of remaining steadfast upon the truth from within.

Who but Abbas (A.S.) teaches loyalty its fullest meaning!

And when he enters the battlefield, where do the shadows find refuge?
