Saw dust in the hands of whoever was supposed to hold the book

فضا جاگ اٹھی ہے پھر سے

دل بھی روشن تمام ہوا ہے

بغل میں رکھے جائے نماز

وہ شخص پھر مسلمان ہوا ہے

حیراں ہیں فرشتے بھی مگر

پھر سے شروع رمضان ہوا ہے

The cool breeze returns once more,

To light up the universe of my heart.

With a prayer mat tucked under his arm,

It feels like being Muslim again.

The angels stand astonished,

As Ramzan is here once again
