In the Qur'an, Allah declares:

 “Idhā qaḍā amran fa innamā yaqūlu lahu kun fayakūn.”

“When He decrees a matter, He only says to it, ‘Be,’ and it is.”

(Surah Al-Baqarah 2:117)

“Kun” means “Be.”

“Fayakūn” means “and it is.”

Creation is not accidental. It is commanded.

And when the Creator says “Be” — existence obeys even though it does not yet exist.”
